Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 24, 2026

Fazting (the "app") is designed to be local-first. We do not run servers that collect or store your personal information. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.

Data we collect

None. Fazting does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server we operate. We do not have user accounts, and there is no sign-in.

Data stored on your device

The following information is stored locally on your device using your operating system's secure storage, and never leaves the device unless you explicitly choose to export it:

You can delete this data at any time from the app's Settings, or by uninstalling the app.

Data retention

Because Fazting stores your data only on your own device, we do not retain it on any server we operate, and we impose no time limit on it. Your fasting history, weight entries, body measurements, profile settings, and photos remain on your device for as long as the app is installed, until you choose to delete them. Deleting an individual entry removes it immediately; resetting from the app's Settings or uninstalling the app removes all on-device data immediately and permanently.

The only data held off your device is your anonymous in-app-purchase record at RevenueCat (described below). It is retained for as long as needed to manage your subscription and to meet Apple's and Google's financial-record requirements, and you can request its deletion at any time (see "How to delete your data").

Third-party services

Fazting uses the following third-party services, which receive limited technical information solely to provide their service:

How to delete your data

See our Delete Your Data page for the full process — in short, resetting from in-app Settings or uninstalling the app removes all on-device data, and you can email us to delete your RevenueCat purchase record.

Permissions

The app may request the following device permissions. Each is optional and only used for the feature described:

Children's privacy

Fazting is not directed at children under 13. Intermittent fasting is generally not recommended for children, and the app carries a 9+ age rating accordingly.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
